Other People’s Money | Success Stories I Like/Hate

One of my hobbies/distractions is reading up on other people’s success. I enjoy seeing how people made their businesses and fortunes, how people become successful, etc.

I say Like/Hate because typically I hate myself for not thinking of it or put myself down for not having similar success (yet!) but we’ll save that rant for another time.

Here’s some links and links to links with fun success stories that I appreciate, even if it just kicks me in the butt.

I particularly liked Number #3, The Million Dollar Homepage, where this guy sold ad space pixel by pixel for $1 per pixel. Ingenious. Sorta reminds me of SaveKaryn.com the shopaholic girl who paid off her 20 or 30k in credit card debt by blogging about it and asking for donations (and also eBay selling the stuff she bought), then ended up with a book deal. And it also sorta reminds me of that guy that started selling ad space tattooed on his body. (There’s a lot of people/companies that do this now, so I can’t find the original guy or the one I’d heard about anyway)
