Play Offs! Week 15, Semi-Finals… 2 Devin’s & 2 “C” QB’s

It’s Week 15 of our Fantasy Football league on Yahoo. Semi-finals of the play-offs. Last week, I crushed my opponent by a surplus of 50pts. This week, DOH! Oops, I did it again… forgot about the darn THURSDAY night game!!

So, doh, one I didn’t WATCH it, which sucks, I would have liked to see that one…but also, I had both Austin Collie & Sims-Walker on my bench. Would I have started either of them anyway? Hmm. Not sure. Probably not, actually, because the Colts are playing so well and the Jags haven’t until recently.

The situation now is that I have Percy Harvin who’s migraines may or may not sit him out again this Week. I might take the chance or wait til gametime for that, see if he suits up.

I also picked up Devin Aromashodu, wide receiver on Chicago, went 8 for 78 in Week 14 against Green Bay, and Yahoo!’s notes say he should see a lot of action regardless of whether or not Devin Hester (who’s ALSO on my bench) plays. *Hester hasn’t done much for me this season, so I’m going to leave him there keeping the bench warm.

I picked up a 3rd Devin, Devin Thomas, wide receiver Redskins, had a break-out day against the Saints, then a quiet game last week. Jason Campbell’s hot but inconsistent right now.

The Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants are both pretty equal teams to me. Both are 7-6. So it’s Devin A + Jay Cutler against Ravens, or Devin T + Jason Campbell against Giants. My gut tells me Eli’s a slightly better QB than Flacco, so, I’m starting Devin A, and placeholding the Minnesota Migraine Man until gametime (?) and basically relying on my 3 strong RB’s to rack up the pizz-oints. (Johnson, Jones, Moreno) + hoping Tom has a good game against Buffalo.

With Correll Buckhalter out, Moreno should have the majority of the carries for the Broncos and hopefully get into the end soon I also have the added bonus of Vernon Davis being a consistent fantasy MONSTER.

*Update, just read rumor that Percy will NOT play, but I guess we won’t know til Sunday! Maybe it’s 2 Devin’s 2 JC’s to start? Could that be some alliterary sign?? (I do love me sum alliteration)
